Classroom Rules and Policies

Policies :

1.      Absence:

General Policy :

A student cannot exceed more than 10 excused or unexcused absences during the semester.

The day of a Quiz or a Test :

a)     Excused absence : serious validated excuse would preferably be performed with the head  of year ( in coordination with the school doctor in case it is medical situation ) and maximum score of 80%

b)    Unexcused absence : ZERO grade and no make up taken

2.      Late HWs :

    * Not accepted under any circumstances even during absence you  should send via email.

3.      Students suspension :

a)      In School suspension : work to students should be delivered on time , supervision to students should be serious, delivering this work to teacher should be same day of the suspension

b)      Out of school suspension: No grades permitted at all.

4.      Extra help classes :

·         Every subject has one day a week.

·         Head of year should send messages to parents for the after school  extra help.

5.      General Rules :

First offense: warning

Second offense: lunch detention

Third offense: sent home

-School starts at 8:00 sharp

- Only Black or white shoes are permitted.

- No makeup for girls.

- Cell phones are not to be used in class unless the head is notified .

-  Out of school uniform not allowed unless the head is notified.

6.     Serious Cases

Smoking, fighting and  physical bullying ( should be referred to the head of year and in turn he will discuss it with  the school principle)

7.     Students are not allowed to interact with students from the Elementary School
